Celebrating a Successful Open Day

What an incredible day we had at our recent College Open Day! It was a joy to welcome so many prospective families onto our campus, where they had the opportunity to experience firsthand the heart and soul of our vibrant learning community.

From the moment visitors arrived, they were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by our students and staff, reflecting the servant-hearted nature that defines our College. Our student leaders took part in informative tours, sharing their personal experiences with confidence and pride. Teachers engaged guests in interactive learning displays, demonstrating the dynamic and innovative teaching that inspires our students daily.

A highlight of the day was seeing our classrooms and learning spaces come alive with engaging activities, from hands-on science experiments, artistic and technology showcases to musical performances. These moments captured the depth and breadth of opportunities available at our College and the passion that our students bring to their learning.

Beyond the academic experience, our guests experienced the sense of community that permeates our College. Whether through the hospitality of our parent volunteers, the warm conversations with staff, or the joyful interactions with students, it was evident that our College is a place where every individual is known, valued and encouraged to flourish.

A sincere thank you to all the students, staff and families who contributed to making the day such a success. Your commitment to showcasing the heart of our College—its Christ-centred mission, dedication to excellence, and servant-hearted culture—was truly inspiring.

We look forward to welcoming many new families into our community as a result of this special day, and we pray that they too will experience the blessing of being part of our College family.

Do you have another child you would like to join OPAC?
You can’t help but notice that our enrolments are strong, with high demand for places in Prep, Kindergarten and Year 7. To ensure a smooth transition for younger siblings, we strongly encourage current families to submit applications at least two years in advance of their intended start year. Early applications help secure a place and allow us to plan effectively for the continued growth of our College community. We value our partnership with families and want to provide every opportunity for siblings to join us on this exciting educational journey.

God bless,
