An Anzac Scholarship and Champ Camp success!

Congratulations to Joshua Davison on Winning the Premier’s Anzac Memorial Scholarship!

We are thrilled to announce that Joshua Davison, a Year 11 student, has been awarded the prestigious Premier’s Anzac Memorial Scholarship for 2024. This remarkable achievement provides Joshua with the opportunity to travel to Japan on an enlightening study tour, aimed at deepening their understanding of Australia’s wartime history.

The Premier’s Anzac Memorial Scholarship is an exceptional program that allows selected NSW History students to visit significant historical sites. Accompanied by a military historian and experienced History teachers, the tour is designed to honour and learn about the contributions of Australian men and women in the World Wars and other conflicts.

Joshua will join a select group of students in this immersive educational experience, gaining invaluable knowledge and creating lasting memories. This scholarship is a testament to Joshua’s dedication and passion for History, and we are incredibly proud of his achievement.

When asked about what this opportunity means to him, Joshua said, “Through retracing the steps of Australia’s involvement in war, we not only honour the legacy of those who served but also fortify the collective bonds that unite us as a nation.”

Please join us in congratulating Joshua on this outstanding accomplishment. We look forward to hearing all about the incredible experiences and learnings from the tour!

Champ Camp

2024 Champ Camp was held during the July holidays, marking an important milestone for our Year 12 students. Over three days, they immersed themselves in subject-specific seminars and intensive individual study sessions, all designed to prepare them for the upcoming Trial HSC Examinations.

The atmosphere was charged with determination as students engaged deeply with their subjects, honing their skills and knowledge. It was truly inspiring to witness their dedication and hard work during this critical period.

Champ Camp is just one example of our commitment to providing the extra support our students need to succeed. By offering tailored seminars and focussed study opportunities, we aim to equip our students with the tools and confidence necessary to excel in their exams.

We are incredibly proud of our students for their perseverance and effort. Their commitment to their studies is a testament to their drive and ambition.

God bless,
