To commemorate ANZAC Day, our college engaged in a variety of activities to honour those who have fought and continue to serve in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations. These activities also aimed to educate our students about the sacrifices made for our freedom.
Both the Junior and Senior schools held assemblies where students shared stories and poems, and participated in a minute of silence. To further honour the memory of the fallen, student leaders laid wreaths at the college’s flagpole and at the cross. This act of remembrance served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made and the enduring legacy of those who have served.
Additionally, students and staff participated in the Camden ANZAC Day Parade. Marching alongside veterans and community groups, our college community demonstrated its respect and gratitude to those who served. This participation was not just a tribute to past sacrifices but also provided a valuable lesson in national pride and remembrance for our students.
Through these activities, our college proudly upheld the ANZAC spirit, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of our national history among students and staff alike.
